Hi Sundeep, There are various documents that a buyer has to obtain from a seller and would be likely to check all the documents relating to the house by his lawyer. These are 1. Title deed 2. Property Tax paid receipts for atleast previous 15 years 3. Approved Building Plan 4. Commencement Certificate given by the Municipal Corporation 5. Completion Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation 6. Agreement of Construction 7. No Encumbrance Certificate issued by concerned Sub-Registrar 8. No-objection certificate by the land owner 9. Occupation Certificate issued by Municipal Corporation
