@Pranab: There are direct buses from Guindy and Tambaram to Guduvanchery.It can be reached through the GST Road. The Meenambakkam airport is about 30 kilometers away. Taxis and buses ply regularly. GST Road connects Guduvancheri to other locales. The Suburban Railway of the Southern Railway network also connects it to the other parts of Chennai. There are more than 35 bus services per day from various places from Chennai. There is a huge bus terminus at Guduvancheri from where you can to anywhere in to the city.
Average apartment prices in this locality range from Rs. 2,700 to 4,500 per sq. ft. Average land prices are Rs. 2, 000 to 5, 500 per sq. ft. Educational institutions present are SRM University and its group of institutions such as Valliammai Engineering College, SRM School of Management, SRM Medical College, etc. Other schools include Eva Stalin IAS Academy, SRM University, Eva Stalin Business School, Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Govt. Higher Secondary School, Bharathiar Matriculation Hr Secondary School, St John Matriculation School, Holy Sai International School, Neelan Matriculation School, St Marys Matriculation School and others.
The social infrastructure of this area is well developed. Police station, electricity office, telephone exchange, government primary health centre, schools and colleges are located in the district itself.
Hey heard that lots of people are migrating to Guduvancheri as the place is calm and is in the midst of busy GST Road and easily connecting to other business and working spots.
@Vivek: Guduvancheri fast growing suburb out of Chennai, there is a proposal for Guduvancheri to Avadi railway lane, also the flyover work is in finishing stage, the land value is reside more than 10 percent. Adhanur is reached through Madambakkam. It is a village rapidly getting populated by residential settlements. This is a very calm and quiet residential area at Chennai.
Ground water is sweet in this area and good breathable air flow is enjoyed over here. A very good and decent locality for all kind of people.

@Murali: As far as I know the security quotient in Guduvancheri is good due to the presence of streetlights. This place has a police station, good number of street-lights, and fire station. The sweeping, drainage and sewerage system is in place and properly functioning.
It is located close to upcoming IT centers and SEZ. Companies already present are Accenture, Ford and Mahindra World City.Plenty of traffic lights can be found in this area. It is good for long term as well as short term investments for 3 to 6 years period you can good returns.
