If you're actually planning to settle somewhere near the Outer Ring road, I would recommend Mahindra Lifespace's project Ashvita. Its merely 15 minutes away from the Outer Ring road, the better part is that this has Mahindra's trusted name, state of the art amenities and is centrally located between malls, schools, and hospitals. It has its possession date in December 2015 as well. It has a huge clubhouse, with a swimming pool, gym, yoga room and an open terrace. It comes in 2, 3, and 4 BHK options.
There is going to be further extension of the Outer Ring Road. A 33 km stretch connecting Shamirpet to Pedda Amberpet is going to be constructed. This is an 8-lane project that is going to be completed by the end of 2014. The construction of this stretch of the Outer Ring Road is bound to affect the real estate in places like Shamirpet, Ghatskar, Nagaram, Kundanpally, LB Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Pocharam, etc. You should buy your house in any of these areas, as they are going to see a bloom in the real estate market pretty soon.
The outer suburbs of Hyderabad are now better connected with the rest of the city, thanks to the recently constructed Outer Ring Road. I think it’s a good decision to buy a house and live on the outskirts of the city. There are several pre-existing as well as under-construction residential projects on the ring road that you can look into. You can check out the Pearl project launched by the PBEL group on the Outer Ring Road.
