Well the civic agency was looking at areas from Jan 2013 to march 2014 and in this period has sanctioned building plans for nearly 3,000 properties. The demolitions are happening at the Shahdara North and South zones

I do agree with the authorities when they say that if people stop constructing illegal structures and abide by the rules more revenue will be generated which can be further used to provide better facilities.

Now even the process of sanction the building plans are easy as that can be done on line and the sanctions comes through within a month.. they why do illegal construction, a bit of hardwork can lessen the worries considerably

Hmm, although people are usually not happy about the authorities demolishing the construction, i guess some actions need s to be take so that other s are discouraged to do unauthorised constructions
