It will reduce traffic congestion on NH-9 between Ameerpet and Sanathnagar or Kukatpally and on SP Road between Rajiv Circle and Greenlands flyover. Honestly speaking, its a blessing for all of us living in Begumpet, and also in neighbourhoods like Brahmanvadi, Nature Cure Hospital area, Indira Gandhi Puram and Renuka Nagar

The connectivity factor between Begumpet and Balkampet will increase drastically, because of this new link road between these two places. Travel time between the two will be practically halved now. This area is going to see capital appreciation, in fact acc to the Apr-Jun issue of the PropIndex, there has been 9% jump already.

Hello! It’s easier to find an apartment in Begumpet these days, because in recent times, a number of residential apartment complexes have finished with their construction. The price keeps fluctuating depending on investor sentiment, but the average price per square feet in this locality is around Rs. 4,500. You can get 2 BHKs, 3 BHKs, or 4 BHKs, if that’s what you want. The number of newly constructed apartments are far lesser than the number of apartments that have already been existent since a long time. Nearby shopping malls such as Shopper’s Stop and Lifestyle offer entertainment and an escape from boredom. Certain areas of Begumpet were facing some water problems in the past, but I don’t know of the present condition.

I don’t understand why you’ve received negative feedback about this locality. It’s one of the most coveted localities in the city. But I do have to admit, even I feel annoyed every time I come across a traffic jam over there. And that happens quite frequently, and now, it’s even more so due to the ongoing construction of the Hyderabad Metro Rail. When it comes to safety, I think this locality is much better than the other lesser developed localities in Hyderabad. With the Begumpet Airport lying close by, the police department would have to be foolish to leave the area unguarded.

Begumpet is one of the oldest and most established areas in Hyderabad. The Hyderabad Public School, a highly reputed school, is situated in this locality. Begumpet is quite a big locality that is made up of a number of smaller localities such as Brahmanwadi, Mayur Marg, Prakash Nagar, and Patigadda. The Begumpet Airport is also part of this locality, and was the primary airport for the city prior to the commencement of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad. As for the negative feedback you’ve received, I think this comes from some of the sub-areas in Begumpet which are relatively underdeveloped compared to the ones located close to the main road.

As of now, the locality is facing some issues because of the constructions, but pretty soon it will be one smooth passage to Balkampet. In fact it will even reduce the travel distance by 2km from Kukatpally, Balanagar, Fathenagar and Balkampet to Secunderabad and vv.
