Information needed about TOGCs in Hyderabad

Q: Hey, I’ve been hearing a bit about these TOGCs. Can anyone explain what they are, and what is their relation with Hyderabad real estate. I’m asking because I’m planning to invest in this market.

Hey I think it includes a lot more than just Shamshabad and Gachibowli. The localities of Patancheru, Ghatkesar, Pedda Amberpet, Keesara and Gundla Pochampally have also been included in the lost of the major TOGCs of the city. In case you’re looking out for localities to invest in, I’d suggest that you check out any of these areas. I myself am planning to invest in some property in Patancheru. If you’re interested, then I can let you know more about it.

Hey relax! TOGCs are nothing but transit oriented growth centres. Which means that these are specific locations in the city which are going to be the major focal points in terms of travelling and economic developments. As of now, some 13 locations have been mentioned. I know of a few – obviously Shamshabad is on the list, primarily because of the new airport there. Also, Gachibowli, because its so close to the IT hub.
