The gaming and animation park is a Special Economic Zone that belongs to the Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR). The ITIR is one of the most ambitious projects being undertaken by the State Government as the moment, and is expected to bring in investments of nearly 44 billion dollars. This animation park is expected to the change the face of the gaming and animation industry in Hyderabad, by providing the right kind of support. This project, apart from providing state-of-the-art facilities for animation firms, also aims to provide fiscal benefits to the animation and gaming firms in this park. The foundation stone had been laid for this project by the then CM of the State in January, 2014.

I think Raidurgam is going to be majorly developed because of this gaming park. I live nearby in Madhapur, so I kind of know some of the features that this animation park has. The work is being actively undertaken since the project had already commenced during the beginning of 2014. It is expected to provide space for over 100 different enterprises, and employment opportunities for over 15,000 people. This project aims to net more than 500 million dollar worth revenues from exports. This project plans to lend support to the screen media, publishing, and the audio sector apart from gaming and animation firms.

Hi! So you’ve finally heard of the GAME Park (Gaming, Animation, Media, and Entertainment Park) in Hyderabad. Being a professional animator, I have become quite involved with developments that are planned to take place in this gaming park. The GAME park is located in the locality of Raidurg am, which is close by to the IT hubs of Hyderabad. The official policy on this park has been formulated over a period of 6 months. It is spread over an expanse of over 30 acres, which are exclusively dedicated to the animation and gaming industry. This initiative has been taken up by the Government to counter the dropout rate of new animation companies every year.
