Any problems in East Maredpally, Secunderabad?

Q: I’ll be moving to the East Maredpally district in Secunderabad. What are the basic issues that the residents are facing here? I want to be well prepared in advance.

How much will be the price of a property in this locality (East Maredpally)?

For 1 BHK apartment of 850 sq ft to 1283 sq ft, the cost is between 23 lakh to 54 lakh. For a 3 BHK of 1500 to 1925, the cost is around 59 lakh to 1.4 crores.

the rent of 1 BHK apartment would cost around Rs 4500 to Rs 10000.
2 BHK apartment the cost is around Rs.10000 to Rs 17000 and
3BHK the rent can go up to around Rs 25000.

Yeah, I was one of those who informed the assistant city planner about this violation. One of our colony residents, Mr. R. C Reddy even filed an official complaint with the Secunderabad Municipal Corporation. This is one of the major problems you need to be aware of, if you’re planning to move into East Maredpally. If it does get built completely, then I don’t know how we will walk in this area, the road is just 20 feet wide. No doubt the roads will be full of vehicles, and we wont even be able to walk through easily, let alone drive.

I know what you’re saying. I’m a resident of this place myself, but even I’m worried about the same issue. Did you guys know that there is already nursing home being built here? I recently found out that this building is actually not following the basic norms. It was supposed to be a residential building at first, so the plans were approved accordingly. But now that they are constructing a nursing home, they should have changed the plans according na? But no. :(

Hi there. Don’t worry, the locality is fine and all :). The only problem that might happen in this area is the constructed of the commercial building here. It is such a nice peaceful locality right now, with friendly people and clean atmosphere. There is a big risk that there will be a number of problems caused by the construction of all these new commercial structures in the locality. I feel that since it is such a purely residential colony, any commercial structure should not be built here, since that will definitely ruin the charm of this place.
