Need information about the Hyderabad metro constuction

Q: I am considering relocating to hyderabad sometime in the next few months and was wondering what the latest news is on the planned metro project. is the constuction on track or will it be delayed?

Yeah, metro construction seems to be going according to plan so far. There have been some issues with the constuctions but nothing that affects the constuction very much. for example, the debris from the constuction is dumped illegaly because there is no proper oversight from the GHMC. Apart from this and a few other inconveniences, the first phase of the main construction itself seems to be on track to get done by the promised date of march 2015.

the metro will be a big boon to hyderabad. it will help rapid connectivity very much and the traffic problems also, a bit. constuction of the metro seems to be going according to schedule.Phase one is supposed to go online in march 2015. so far, there haven't been any big delays in the project. Especially now, the central government looks like it has taken special interest with this project. The Project Monitoring Group has been given the job of watching this project to make sure that it finishes on time and as planned.
