HI,
Himayath Nagar is one of the prominent localities in Hyderabad. In the July-Sep quarter of 2013, the locality price appreciated to Rs 4425/sq-ft. In the April - June quarter of 2014, the locality price appreciated to Rs 4491/sq-ft. The area enjoys good demand due its proximity to important centers of the city and beyond.

As residents in this locality, we area actually quite worried about our general health. And now that the monsoons are here the condition will worsen even further. Dirty water will accumulate here, which will breed more and more pests like mosquitoes, flies, etc. Just imagine the number of waterborne, airborne and foodborne diseases that are going to be spreading! The local corporator should install another bin on this spot, seeing how people have chosen this for their dumping ground.

Actually no, there were two bins in this area. But what happened was that because of the road widening project one of those bins got moved to the spot beside the Veterinary hospital here. But most people don’t know about that and till date they are dumping all their garbage in the bin behind the park. Even though some residents try to put their garbage in the bin, there are a number of commuters or passers-by, who are so habituated to seeing the dumb around the bin, that they just throw their rubbish there.

Okay, I know the place and I think the spot that you’re talking about. I think its the one behind the Melkote Park? Thing is there already was a garbage bin in this spot. But what happened was that, that bin never got properly cleaned out, so its now overflowing with garbage. All the rubbish is just overflowing into the ground, and the whole place stinks badly. This is a real hazard, and I hope something is done about it soon.

Yes I’ve heard that there is a certain spot in this locality, where garbage is dumped regularly, and by now it has turned into this huge mess okay? I don’t know whether your place will be close to this dump or not, but if it is then I definitely advise you to reconsider your options. IT happened to me once, I lived in a place closed to a huge garbage dumping zone, and it actually caused some health issues in my younger son.
