Also, the roads haven't been constructed well from the very start. During monsoon season it is the worst! They start breaking and literally ripping apart. There are open manholes everywhere, major hygiene and sanitation issues, potholes, and lots of traffic. And the non-stop maintenance is not helping us, just inconveniencing things further
This area is also extremely accident prone, and most of the victims are the poor pedestrians. There was a Rs 2 crore budget allocated to the KPHB corporator for the development of roads and drainage and sewerage system. But the corporator didnt undertake the construction of footpaths on these roads, saying that is the job of the Hyderabad metropolitan development authority (HMDA).
Hey the place is good and all of that, but let me warn you there are some downsides of Kukatpally. You should be aware that there are no proper footpaths for pedestrians on that long road where the metro constructions are going on. There is absolutely no sidewalks or pavements here, and you'll have to walk along the carriageway
Hi. Kukatapally is a very good area that takes care of everything that you would need within a 2 km radius. There are lots of bus stops along the area and connectivity by public transport is very strong. You should find a bus in every 5 mins that include TGSRTC, RTC and private busses that cut through the area. There is no MMTS service available in Kukatapally but if you prefer to travel by rail, the closest station should be Hitech City apart from Begumpet and Secunderabad stations. There are also a lot of hospitals around the locality. In fact, there is a street called doctors street that is famous for clinics and hospitals.
Hello friends. I also love this area! I do a lot of my shopping here and hang out with my friends every weekend. There are lots of restaurants scattered around. My favorite is Thugs And Grills. But you will also find Mc Donald's, KFC, The Chocolate Room and for the ones that like ice cream, Baskin and Robins. We also watch most of our movies here in Cinepolis and Asian Cinemas. It is also very comfortable because there are a lot of banks and their ATMs around the locality. The traffic around the area is also not too bad except for peak hours.
Kukatapally is a commercial suburb and is extremely developed. It is in the north west of the city and it houses the biggest colony in Asia - the housing board colony. You will find lots of people because of all basic amenities being extremely well packed in the area. Most of my shopping happens in this area. There are an array of brands like Levis, Puma, Wrangler, Louis Philippe and many more within close proximity. There are also lots of shopping malls like South India Mall, Chennai Shopping Mall, CMR and Shoppers Stop. This place is awesome for anyone who loves to shop like me.
Hi! Kukatpally is a major residential area in Hyderabad. Since it got merged into Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), things are only getting better and better. GHMC is responsible for the civic amenities so you can find newly built, smooth roads and lots of development happening in and around the area. This is pretty close to the Information Technology hub of Hitech city and because of that, the number of people considering to move base to this part of town are many in number. You will not only find small and cozy houses but will also find posh villas in the vicinity.
