Q: Hi friends. I am looking to shift to Banjara Hills and since I am someone who needs to travel around the city a lot, I need to know how the road infrastructure is there. Can someone help me with this please?

Hi buddy! I have been stuck up in this traffic so many times I can't tell you! But I love this area. All famous people live here and my favorite places are all here. Yes I think The flyover work has already started and these roads would see new flyovers soon. Once they come the traffic will get much better. But I don't think it will stay for long. I travel in public transportation so many times. People only want to travel in their own vehicles thats why so much congestion. This flyover will help for a few years and then again that will also get crowded. What to do.

Hi there. I agree. The roads are well maintained and in fact, a new project that includes building four flyovers across Banjaara Hills and Jubliee Hills is in place. This getting sanctioned means there will be a lot more fluidity in communication from one side of town to the other. Specially because there are so many people that use this passage. Already the metro rail works are in progress at Dilsukhnagar and these flyovers coming up will make travelling a lot more easy. The four flyovers were a result of the Comprehensive Transportation Study that took place in the end of November 2013.

Hello. Even I have heard about this. There was a lot of traffic in the area and it was measured to be more than 10000 passenger cars per unit at the peak hour and that made it very important to push this project ahead. Especially the terrible traffic on road number 10 and 12 made it very clear that broader roads or flyovers had to be constructed to east free moving traffic. I have seen a lot of own vehicles at these junctions. I think people should use more public transport services and then the situation will get a little better.

Hello friend. Banjara Hills is one of the most urban and up market areas in Hyderabad. The good thing is that since it hold so much of importance in the city, there are always new projects that keep coming up to better the place. The roads are one amongst them. You will find a lot of celebrities living in this area and so the infrastructure is well taken care off. Since there are so many malls, restaurants and social infrastructure around it, this is a high traffic area and to maintain that traffic, the roads are regularly patched and taken care of.
