Q: Hey can anyone tell me about the proposed ITIR that is coming up in Hyderabad? What all is it going to include? Will real estate prices around ITIR region increase because of this?

As of right now because of the split in Telanganna, this project seems to be getting a little delayed. And 2000 MW of power will be lessened in the city. IT companies will lose interest to invest.
IT companies involved in hardware, software, city infrastructure around transportation, other support infrastructure will benefit from this ITIR zone. Hyderabad will grow even further in the industry sector.
The ITIR will include such things like SEZ, industrial parks, FTZ, warehousing zones, export-oriented units, growth centres, existing settlements/ industries and estates/services.
Lot of infrastructure development will now be there related to ITIR like metro rail connectivity, power sub-stations, widening of national highways and radial roads from ORR to the end of ITIR clusters
Yeah for external and internal infra like roads, water, electricity and sewerage lines within the ITIR clusters, it will totally cost around 18,000 crores!
These are the areas that the ITIR would be set up in : CDA, including Gachibowli and Madhapur, HADA area including Mamidipalli, Raviryal, Adibatla and Maheswaram as well as the Uppal and Pocharam belt.
Oh yes there is going to be a new ITIR region set up in Hyd with an investment of Rs 2.19 lakh crore. It will generate jobs for about 15 lakh people :)
