ok...so the HMR is right on track. But the metro authorities are instructed to ensure that no heritage structure is disturbed due to project, especially the Telangana Martyrs' Memorial at Gun park as well as the legislative assembly building and the M.J market. as it is mentioned by the friend, Sultan Bazaar is also another place of heritage value.
hey, i came to know that the work of metro rail has quickened very much after it reached the core city from the suburbs. In the last quarter, the spans construction was 49 per month, while in this quarter it has gone up to 65. this is really quick. But, i think the works are mostly concentrated on just two corridors - L.B Nagar to Miyapur and Nagole to Shilparamam/Raidurg.
along with this, there are also plans to take over 2.15 acres of the defence land for metro station. Though the discussions are going on, this will be very likely to happen soon. There are also other progresses in discussion, mainly the discussion on slightly diverting the alignment of corridor II away from Sultan Bazaar.
Hey, right now, the land acquisition is in the progress especially across the three metro corridors. I think almost 44 properties are acquired on the three corridors. There was some information that almost 318 properties will also be acquired. but i think the remaining properties will be taken over very fast looking at the pace of the development.
hi, there is a lot of things happening in the metro rail project in Hyderabad. but, i think there latest thing that is happening is the road widening on metro routes. It is likely to happen very soon. It is planned to widen the roads wherever the metro rail is currently in the city.
