Hi Raj, According to me, Delhi has six million vehicles with 1,200 more added daily. But road space is not increasing at the same pace and very soon Delhis roads would become inadequate to handle the growing traffic volume, traffic experts warn. So in this time FNG Expressway is a big support to reduce the traffic problem.
Hi Raj Roy, Yes Sufia , you are absolutely right about this. So keeping in mind the authorities have increased the pace of construction of the much-awaited FNG Expressway (Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad Expressway), to provide fast connectivity and improve infrastructure for realty growth.
As per my knowledge, FNG Expressway is nearly 56km long and of this, 19.9km falls in Noida-Greater Noida region and 8km in Ghaziabad, while the rest 28.1km falls in Faridabad regions, especially the Neharpar areas. Definitely this project is going to boost up realty market in nearby sectors & as well as traffic issues will be resolved.
@ Mr Roy, Side by side many realty players,Keeping this in mind have launched several projects in the newly developing areas like Sectors 117, 118, 121, 122, 137, 142, and 150 along the FNG corridor. Hope to get more appreciation, fast sell & more buyer demand, builders are developing residential & commercial projects near to this high way.
But connectivity is likely a little bit bad issue here. Scene is equally bad on roads connecting Delhi with Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, and Ghaziabad. This is serious support on NH-8 (Delhi-Jaipur Highway), which was designed for a peak traffic volume of 1.6 lakh vehicles (by 2015). With Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, and Gurgaon emerging as major real estate hubs, millions of people are now crisscrossing the NCR, end to end, on a daily basis.
There is huge movement of goods also in these regions. Keeping the projected requirements of movement of this huge volume of population and goods, development authorities of Faridabad, Noida, and Greater Noida took up the FNG Expressway project to ease the movement of traffic between these cities.
