Hi Guys,
According to me, Tambaram West features several shopping centers, retail stores and day to day convenience stores. Several banks are also present such as Axis, ICICI, SBI, Indian Bank and Indian Overseas Bank. The Vandaloor-Nemilichery Outer Ring Road connects the locality with different districts such as Madhana Puram, Lakshmi Nagar, Old Perungalathur, Krishna Nagar, Mudichur and Bharathi Nagar. Tambaram railway station is at a distance of 3.5 km from Tambaram West and 10-11 km from Chennai Airport via the Velachery–Tambaram High Road.

In my point of view, West Tambaram is well equipped with sound civic and social infrastructure. The area comprises of various super markets, banks and schools. Tambaram West is a very peaceful residential locality with good connectivity to hospitals, schools, railway station and airport. The transport facility is also good and is further well connected to major IT parks such as MEPZ and Sriram IT Park.

Hi ,
With the presence of fire and police stations, round the clock security is also ensured. Street lights and driving direction boards further help in the safety of women during late night. Inspite of being a commercial hub, the area still features various parks. Considering the new and existing residential developments in Tambaram West followed by the consistently rising capital values, now might be a good time to invest in the area before the prices move up again.

Hi ,
As per my knowledge, Tambaram West offers many new residential projects of varied budget categories, matching well with the housing needs of buyers. Most of these will be handing over possession by the middle of 2015 and the remaining are proposed to be completed by the end of 2016. The upcoming new developments are multi-storey apartments, maximum of which are 1 and 2BHK units.

What really makes Tambaram West one of the main centers for commercial and residential development or preference among buyers is its strategic location and swift connectivity with nearby areas and the rest of the city. Located along the Chennai-Trichy Highway, the area is situated at a distance of 27 km from Chennai.

Hi Harish,
As per my knowledge, even though it is one of the oldest localities of the city, Tambaram West is still riding high in the real estate market with respect to demand, supply and capital values in the area. It was one of the areas to witness rise in capital values in the recent quarters.

Hi Mr Harish,
One of the reasons behind the rising capital values in the area is the consistently increasing demand for housing. This can be attributed to several factors such as the strategic location of the locality, well established social and civic infrastructure, the commercial set ups in the area, prevalent jobs market and availability of varied housing options.
