This system will save up so much time. And i think it is better to have the records in this was rather than havong them in a manual manner. it is easier to file and manage them when they are in a centralized system.

the system would revolutionize implementation of projects such as road works with easy access to data. Another advantage is the easy availability of information about every building in the municipality. All details of a building, with its position marked out on a map, will appear on the monitor on keying in the building number.

Hey, the authorities are taking up a lot effort to make sure that nothing goes wrong. The database had been created through an on-field survey conducted by a 60-member strong team from ULCCS split into 30 teams of two members over a period of eight months. The teams visited every locality and collected the data using a GPS-enabled device.

Right now, the process of verifyting the data and collecting information about various properties is underway, the civic body is getting the entire information. and i think this system will be ready to implement by April in the next year, 2015.

See, this system is expected to plug the leaks in property tax collection by providing accurate information about each building. Like for example, the municipality could be collecting tax for 200 sq. ft when in reality there might be 400 sq. ft, which the IPMS helps to detect. It would also streamline management of the municipality’s assets register.

This is a a web-based program for the digitisation of municipal records. When put into operation, the system will help the municipal body have complete information on the total number of buildings, both commercial and residential, within its limits. The adakara-based Uralungal Labour Contract Cooperative Society Ltd. (ULCCS) through its IT and Geospatial Department came up with this project.

Hey this is a very detailed project that is being implemented in here. By using this, the porperty will be easily classified. And not just the building details but exhaustive data about the locality such as the nature of road, street lights and living standards of people including details on whether they have access to drinking water and power, income, etc. are collected

Hey yes, this is very much true, The Kalamassery area will be the first municipality in the state which is having its property records online and that can be viewed by the public too. It is using the Integrated Property Management System, which enables the online management of the properties in the state.
