Hi,
Comparing the prices in Narela property market to any other market of Delhi, and you would know that in terms of entry costs, an investor is set to gain. But the fact that several DDA flats were left unoccupied in itself reflects that the basic fabric is lacking. Small time businessmen, who would want to park their money in an industrial plot, are the only people to benefit as of today.

@ Mr Mathur,
DDA is too good an opportunity to just let go. But given the condition of infrastructure in places like Narela, buyers think twice before investing. Authorities need to focus on the fact that the house and the vicinity should be usuable before it is passed on.

At a recent conference held on land pooling, Alka Arya, deputy director planning, Land Pooling Cell, DDA said, “It would take some time before the infrastructure develops. For instance, DDA offered flats in Vasant Kunj, Rohini and Mayur Vihar which were once barren lands. But now people are living there and basic facilities are available along with easy connectivity.

@ Mathur,
Developing infrastructure always takes time. Houses are also under-construction and till the time they will be completed, hopefully, everything around will be ready. Flats are being made available where land was available or was acquired.

Hi guys,
As per my knowledge, DDA is committed to provide facilities to the common people. Also, the land pooling policy where developers will be made part of developing infrastructure will further help in fastening the development process. With the land pooling policy, we can set our town right. All issues related to affordable housing, facilities like sewerage and drainage will be solved if the authority and private players work together.

Hi Mr Mathur,
DDA revealed that they have decided to allot the houses in Dwarka, Narela and Rohini and the process would continue till 31st Jan 2015. With the exception of some flats in Sirsapur and Rohini, which are still not ready for possession, the ready stock may soon pass into the hands of the rightful owner.

Hi ,

In my point of view, now people who considered themselvs lucky are thinking of having the DDA flat or selling it. Because people who got flats in Narela, they are confused because this place is not fully developed. currently there is no development in Narela.

Hi ,
People are craving for good infrastructure and connectivity before they can actually use the luck to their advantage. In the long run, an investor stands to gain. But, as of now, amenities such as sewerage, drainage, connectivity and a basic social fabric are missing. It is difficult to expect these in the next 3-5 years either.
