Supply of drinking water to sectors like B-4 along with A-10, providing and laying water pipelines in pockets like 2, 4 and 6 of Sector A-10, improvement of service lanes and drains in pocket 13 and desisting of lanes and internal sewer lines in other sectors.
The area has very good water supply and electricity distribution. However, it currently lacks the necessary physical infrastructure and connectivity. There are few buses in the area but they do not provide the necessary connectivity to other areas.
Narela is one such area that has been created. Though, the prospects of the area witnessing good demand is low in the short term, it has the potential to be the next real estate hot spots on the lines of Dwarka in the future.
DDA has also taken up major development work in the Narela township
to make it liveable. The project is developing a green area spread over
450 hectares, but i think we should wait and check out the areas prospect first
The DPR for metro's extension to Narela is already being prepared. Moreover the extension from Bawana to Narela is proposed in phase IV of the metro plan.
Nerela, this project area is bounded by Delhi-Haryana border in its North part and Western Yamuna Canal in the West. G T Karnal road in the East and Badli-Auchandi Marg in the Southeast.
Delhi Development Authority has developed it as the third mega sub-city project. This is an urban extension project of Delhi, after Rohini City and Dwarka sub city
