How to apply for the transfer of property which has been bought by family members in one name and what are the charges?

Q: Bought an appartment in Dwarka and is freehold now in my and my brother name. Now my brother wants to leave his share in the property with his freewill (w/o asking for anything). What are the steps involved in moving ahead on this and the charges to be paid for having the property in single name. Please help.

Hi,

If your brother agreed to transfer the properties in your name then you have to pay only transfer charges against the properties.
