Joint Ownership

Q: I am Married and alone daughter of my parents and planning to take a flat in Joint Name i.e. my Mother and Myself let us assume if tomorrow something goes wrong with my mother the flat will be automatically transferred to me second owner that is me. my intention after the taking the flat in joint name I do not want any type of future complications.

Thanks Neeraj for Prompt response I am alone child of my parents, also thou 80 % of the money is of my parents and bal 20 % is from mine saving anyways all the money to builder will be paid by my Saving Account.

HI RAJESH,
it is good that you are planning to purchase properties in joint. but in your case it is not clear that who is going to pay the amount of properties ? if your mother have any child other then u then after his death this properties comes in paternal properties act, so it is advisable to take legal document from your mother that after her death this properties is fully occupied by u not any legal liability.
