The other level of the flyover will not be a four lane road, like it was from Nanjappa road to Omnibus stand. Second level of the flyover is around 1.22 km from the seventh cross Huyndred feet road and will end near Avarapalayam Junction.

At present, one of the problems being faced regarding the construction of flyover is that people are opposing to shift temples which are located at Nanjappa Road stretch. The place for shifting these temples will be finalised in a few days and the work will resume at a faster pace.

Another step that is being taken for the speedy construction of the flyover is that the officials are not letting people park their vehicles on one part of the road, where they could park earlier. Something similar was carried out at Oppanakara Street.

To ease the flow of traffic at Hundred feet road, the officials are taking the steps to divert the traffic from the Mettupalayam Road and the Sathy Road. This is being done for the flyovers speedy construction and also to reduce problems for people travelling from that part of town.

The flyover is being built to decongest the traffic faced by the people at Gandhipuram. In order to ensure speedy development of the flyover, the officials are thinking of widening the roads at gandhipuram and also temporarily shifting the bus stand at Gandhipuram.

The construction of the flyover at gandhipuram is going through some bottlenecks at the time, because of the shifting of temples. The shifting of the three temples will be done in the next few days, atleast that is what the officials say.
