I have also heard that once the taps were provided to each and every house in municipal and urban areas people may come forward to pay for the scheme and the amount so generated would be paid back to Nabard.

the drinking water supply project would be funded from Nabard infrastructure development fund as part of Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) loan. Starting from Rs 1,000 crore during the financial year 2015-16, Nabard has agreed to fund Rs 5,000 crore for the entire scheme.

Actually, the funding for these two projects is being done in two different ways. Nabard will fund Rs 360 crore this year for Mission Kakatiya and Rs 500 crore for water grid during the next financial year.

Yeah. the HUDCO has offered to pay around 10,000 crore and the NABARD has agreed to pay 5,000 crore each to fund the Water Grid project. Nabard has agreed to extend financial support to both Mission Kakatiya and Telangana Drinking Water Project.

Helo Mr Krishna Rao. right now, the Government is planning to actually boost this project so two big financial institutions have come forward to fund this project. These two institutions are the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) and the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).

Hello. It is a good thing that these two establishments have decided to take this step, but how much are each of them paying?
