I heard that the real estate market is good in Gwalior. How about the property price going on in Gwalior?

Gwalior has a good number of apartments as well as independent houses available in the city. The most common housing configurations in the city include 2, 3 and 4BHK units with a few 1BHK units. The approximate size of a 1BHK unit is about 450-800 sq. ft. while that of a 2BHK unit is about 700-1,150 sq. ft. The approximate size of a 3BHK unit is about 1,175-1,800 sq. ft. The approximate size of a 4BHK house is about 1,300-2,400 sq. ft. Property prices in Gwalior are currently in the range of Rs 2,500-5,450 per sq. ft.

Gwalior is an important historical city in Madhya Pradesh. The city has emerged as an important tourist destination in modern times due to its historic and archaeological significance. The city has a rich heritage of art and culture, especially in terms of classical music. It also occupies an important location in the Gird region of India. As an important city that fulfills most of the requirements of a smart city, Gwalior has a potential to become one.

There are a number of initiatives that have been taken by the Madhya Pradesh government.

1) One of the major infrastructure projects is the Gwalior metro announced in October 2014. A detailed project report is being currently drafted.

2) Foundation stone for development works worth about Rs 62.5 crore also laid.
