Reputed Firms Bid for the contract of ITIR development in Hyderabad
Q: Helo everyone. I would like to knwo if there are any new developments in the ITIR in Hyderabad? Which firm is be developng the ITRI region? Any ideas?
I agree, the design and the architecture of this project is very important for the development of the city This region is said to be the biggest IT and investment region all over the country.
I think right now the biggest project that is coming up in Hyderabad right now is the ITIR region only, and if the consultants and the firms that are bestowed with the responsibiity of this project do well, then it can effect the city very well.
I have read that the consultant will be asked to incorporate information on potential demand for various land uses such as housing, commercial, retail, office and industrial spaces, etc that are required for the success of this region and , identifying opportunities for mixed land use development and assessing broad developmental risks and evolve mitigation measures.
The Government plans to use a development strategy plan that will provide an investment plan to be implemented in a phased manner with the stated objectives and guidelines.
BDP Building Design Partnership that is based in the Europe is also bidding for the ITIR region. This is also again based out of the country, and they are also very well known in other countries. They have won several prestegious awards for their construction also.

The consultant would provide ITIR with details of survey numbers, villages and mandals and review similar ITIRs existing in the country. Assessment of air, road, rail connectivity and network pattern iin the area etc will be part of ITIR.
These are all very big firms, and the basic master plan of the ITIR region is land use plan and investment plan will have broad mapping of demographic, socio-economic characteristics, physical and social infrastructure and environmental aspects.
I have read that ITIR would have linkages with existing IT/ITES/EHM base in the state. Several major players in IT/ITES sectors and companies in EHM sector have shown interest to move to brownfield area of ITIR.
Hey the Bengaluru based Feedback Infra is also one of the firm that is bidding for the ITIR regions construction and development. They deal with the construction of highways, and energy distribution mechanisms etc.
I think that if the WS Atkins group is given this contract, then then project will be really successful. They are respected all over the world. and they have a lot of sucessful projects to their credit as of now.
Another firm that is showing some interest in the development of the economic zone is the Aarvee Associates Architect group. They are based in Hyderabad only, and they have made some major highways and water supply channesl aacross the country.

ITIR is a huge project that is coming up in the city right now. ITIR is covering Cyberabad Development Authority (CDA) including Gachibowli and Madhapur; and Hyderabad Airport Development Authority (HADA) covering Mamidipalli, Raviryal, Adibatla, Maheswaram, Uppal, Pocharam and other areas.

Hey LEA associates is a leading company in infrastructure development and they have already built a lot of social infra like flyovers and bridges. they have done a lot of projects in foreign countries also.
I have heard that soem six firm are presently interested in taking part in this bid to develop this ITIR region in the state, and the decisin as to which firm is getting the contract is yet to be decided.
Yes, actually the Government is planning for bid, and whichever firm or company grabs this bid wil be given the contract to develop and design the ITIR region in Hyderabad.
Hey yes. I know about two frims that have been zeroed down to plan in the ITRI region in the city. they are the firms are LEA Associates South Asia Pvt Ltd and the AECOM India Pvt Ltd.
