I have heard that for now tax rebate is being offered to residents who have not paid yet the taxes fro this fiscal year, I am not sure about the residents who have already paid their taxes.
But no rebate is being offered to owners if their tax demand is 10 per cent higher as the SCB has targeted Rs. 26 crore property tax collections this year and has so far netted Rs. 21 crore.
Now this will be some kind of relief for the residents of the Secunderabad Cantonment. I realy hope that the property tax that as imposed on them is reduced.
Wow, that great news, the residents of the Secunderabad had got a shock recently when the property tax levied on hem was almost 4 times than that of the property tax that they paid last year,..
Yeah, and in case the tax evaluation this year is five times higher compared to last year, then the rebate of the property tax for the residents is around 55 %
I have heard that the CEO that the residents spoke to had agreed to give tax rebate of 25 per cent to property owners if their tax evaluation this year was Rs. 500 more than last’s year’s levy
The Government is taking its own steps slowly to provide the drinking water for the people in Hyderabad, If you take the example of the people in the Secunderabad Cant only, apart from these bore wells... it is decided that SCB would develop at least 10 rain water harvesting pits in each ward.
I feel that its high that that the government did something about the lact of drinking water in the areas in and around the secunderabad Cantonment, The summer months are approaching, and it can be very difficult for the residents in the area.
The water shortage is not only present in the Secunderabad, but it is also present in almost the entire city. I think the government should do something for the other areas as well.
Yeah the residents in the Secunderabad area were actually complaining about the lack of drinking water in the area. There is an acute water shortage in the area right now.
It was agreed at the meeting that four new power borewells would be drilled in the Secunderabad area besides, engaging more contractors to repair the existing borewells also.
Hello. Yes yes, The Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) ward members met Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to negotiate property tax and to finalise water plans for summer for the residents.. There are rumours now that the property tax that was imposed on the residents in the Cantonment will be decreased now,
