Q: Hi, is the construction of the metro line getting postponed? When is the Mettuguda to Nagole stretch getting started?

The metro rail has been facing problems with the acqusition of the land from various divisions in the city, as many people dint want to give away their land for the construction of the metro rail.

There was actually not any kind of agreement that had happened between the Telangana Government and the L&T company, about the opening of the metro rail in the city.

Oh if this tretch of the metro rail will be extended till the secunderabad railway station, then i think that it wil be more convinient for the passengers to move around,

Actually, The first phase of Hyderabad Metro Rail project which is under construction by the L & T Metro Rail Hyderabad , which was initially proposed to be opened on the eight kilometre stretch from Nagole to Mettuguda, may be extended up to Secunderabad Railway Station.

I think the Nagole to Mettuguda stretch of the metro rail will be starting later this year. I have read that this will be started by the November end of so in 2015

Hey, yes this stretch of the metro rail is not ready yet to begin and is still under construction. It was actually supposed to start by the Ugadi in 2015, but due to various reasons, this stretch is not about to begin anytime soon.
