As per City MP Anil Shirole said Pune's proposal to the central government for its inclusion in the Smart City programme has given a thrust to environmental concerns and the impact of climate change and has suggested measures to mitigate the impact. We are moving towards a long-term policy to build climate-resilient capacity of the city.

Nearby environmental change can be controlled by neighborhood arranging. The best illustration is of Bangalore city where organizers chose to handle rising temperature with streamlining development exercises and securing greeneries.

The long terms plan for the city does not reflect environmental change concerns and chose delegates concede that another methodology towards urban arranging is required. We have to anticipate the future and ensure our surroundings for the nearing eras. It is high time the city makes a long haul plan to handle the effect of approaching ecological and atmosphere changes. The PMC must have an arrangement to ensure its water bodies, slopes and biodiversity.

Hi Chandra , your thought is absolutely right let us Focussed principally on streets, water supply and open spaces, the municipal body's advancement arrangement for the old and new city zones has not taken into to record the effect of environmental change , as it is still viewed as a far off danger.
Gauri Shinde

The advancement plans (DPs) arranged by the PMC organize housing, water and sewage, transport, health and social development and infrastructure. On the other hand, securing the city's biodiversity, its slopes and water bodies - all necessary to Pune - don't figure in this plan.
