Apart from that, the Cabinet also approved the shipping ministry's proposal for India's succession to the International Convention on Civil Liability for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage, 2001 of the International Maritime Organization as well as to amend the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 to give effect to the Bunker Convention, Nairobi Convention and Salvage Convention.
For Telangana, the Cabinet has given its approval for development of the 4 laning of the Yadgiri-Warangal section of National Highway-163 in Telangana. This work will be under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase-IV. The approval is in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis. The cost is estimated to be Rs.1905.23 crore.

To ensure smooth supply of urea in southern states, the Center approved continuation of its production from 3 plants that use naphtha as feedstock till availability of gas through pipelines or any other means. The decision is meant to ensure smooth supply of fertilizer in the southern states.

@Lokesh, The Cabinet also approved the Conformation of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Convention on the Seafarers Identity Document. A biometric based seafarer's identity document will be developed, mainly, to make sure a foolproof security system to repel the possible risk of violation of security and possible terrorist attacks.
Right Lekshmi, As per the Modi Govt. India's confirmation of this Convention will benefit Indian navigator, who may otherwise find a threat to their job opportunities, in the near future, in the global maritime sector if India doesn't confirm the Convention.

Right Vasanth, The Cabinet approved import of lentils in large quantities to boost supply and also asked states to take action against hoarders. This is because the pulses prices risen by up to 64% in the last one year as the domestic production fall nearly 2 million tones in 2014-15 crop year due to unfavorable weather conditions.
