But as per top Maharashtra Govt. official, the Chinese are expecting that the entire project work involving the sub contracts should be given to firms from China alone. But still it looks far behind as MMRDA executing the project confirmed that no decision has been taken on who would be given the project.

In spite of that, all the countries have put forth certain conditions. For example, The UK put forth a condition that 20% of the project work should be given to it. 30% could go to Indian firms and rest 50% could be given to other firms abroad. On the other hand, Germany wants that 50% of the project work should be given to its country, 30% to Indian firms and the rest of the 20% to other abroad firms.
