Legal constructions demolished by Aurangabad Municipality.

I heard from news that Aurangabad Municipality started demolishing properties near to Harsul jail. Kindly discuss.

Hey Guys,
As per my knowledge, Mr Mahajan conceded that the property owners had been allowed building authorization however was firm that the demolitions would proceed. Municipal authority will dispatch a request to discover slips by with respect to the municipal authorities presences in granting permision. Strict actions will be taken against those officers found guilty.

Shivaji Zanzan, chief officer & in charge of anti encroachment exercises, said notification were served to the residents 24 hours prior to the action, requesting that they empty the spot. But leader of house in the AMC, Mr Rajendra Janjal, said the municipal administration sent the notification to people just in the sake of formalities.

After district collector Mr Virendra Singh, Mahajan and Harsul prison authorities inspected the area, AMC started demolishing structures. BJP corporator Gajanan Barwal said authority has to pay sufficient compensation to the property owners. As Civic authorities had permitted the building permission, so these structures are 100% legal. Besides the authorities ought to have obeyed the legal procedure to procure the affected land by providing property owners compensation.

According to news, illuminating the civic body's stand, Mr Prakash Mahajan, municipal commissioner told that according to the Maharashtra Prison Manual, no development is permitted in a range of 182 meters from the Harsul central jail. These are basic guidelines from the government and authority need to obey them entirely.

Hi Mr Ravindra Singh,
As per the latest news, The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Monday referred to security motivations to demolish 3 constructions which were in close vicinity to the Harsul prison. Incidentally, the AMC itself had allowed to the property owners to set up the constructions. It is a huge controversy in Aurangabad now.

Corporators thrashed the municipal administration amid the general body meeting for knocking down the constructions. They requested that the property owners be well compensated by authority. Corporator Vijay Autale asserted, around 200 plots had been set in the area around year 2006- 2008. Over 200 property buyers bought plots, as well as some of these people, have obtained legal authorization to do constructions in their plots.
