Katni is also known as the city of lime, because it is rich in reserve of limestone. As per my knowledge average rate per sq ft is approx Rs 2500 to 3500 per sq ft

Katni is an ancient city in which many industries are located in whole district.Katni district situated in the Northeastern parts of the state of Madhya Pradesh. District has a perfect balance between agricultural productivity and industrial developments. Paddy, wheat, gram and pulses are the main crops of the district. The district also has many industries out of which the most important are the mineral based industries and the pulses mills.
