Q: Another big size ticket deal happened in Lodha Developer's super luxury project Lodha Altamount in South Mumbai.

As we all know that property prices in South Mumbai is too expensive. It is one of the most expensive locations in the country and property price are in the range of Rs (1-1.20)lakh /sq-ft. In south Mumbai, areas such as Carmichael Road, Altamount Road and Malabar Hill command the highest premium in terms of prices, followed by Nepeansea Road, Warden Road and then Peddar Road and Hughes Road.

Yes, in September, chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman of Aditya Birla Group had bought an iconic bungalow in Malabar Hill last month for RS 425 crore. In another big-ticket transaction in the same month, Lincoln House, a property on Breach Candy was bought by Cyrus Poonawalla, the billionaire chairman of Serum Institute of India Ltd, for Rs 750 crore.

Yes, i heard that Lodha Developers Pvt. Ltd sold an apartment in its upcoming super luxury project Lodha Altamount for Rs 141543/sq-ft. The project is located in south Mumbai . The 5BHK in 2826 sq-ft having a pool and a terrace was sold for Rs 40 crore to a Mumbai-based businessman.
