We have one property which is on dads name. But he is no more. May i the process to change the name of my flat to my nam

Hi,
If your mother, sister and brother is alive then it is very necessary to register a Relinquishment Deed in your favor from your mother and sister at the concerned registrar. Because after the death of your father you, your mother and your sister all have inherited 1/3rd undivided equal share in the whole property of your father and they can released their share in favour of you by the virtue of Relinquishment Deed and after that you will be the owner of the whole property.

Is your mother, sister and brother with you? If you are only member of your family then you have to get deed of relinquishment (without consideration), get it registered and submit to the authority.

Yes, but you didn't mention that how many brothers and sister you have. In presence of them you have to get the Release deed from them and register it. Then you will become the sole and absolute owner of the property.
