I think the problem lies in the fact that Mysore seems to be trying to expand very fast! 10 years ago Bogadi was considered a satellite township but now it is very much part of the main city of Mysore and places like Hunsur are now considered outskirts. This vast expansion must be good for the economy but it is putting a strain on the limited resources and that is why it is difficult to deliver proper civic facilities equally in all the localities.
Bogadi has a lot of issues. Even after 20 years of being around, basic civic amenities are lacking. The borewells dong function properly and. People had to end up paying 600 to 700 rupees on water tankers. Also regular road cutting activities undertaken by the civic body to 'fix the drainage system' hamper daily commute.
