Indian rental market

Q: What is the size of Indian rental market, especially in apartments and share accommodation. can somebody throw some light?

Indian gross rental yields are very low which means that residential properties in India are somewhat overestimated.

a) If you look at Bangalore rental market, the rental yield ranging from 3.7% to 4.4%.

b) Rental yields in Delhi remain also remains very poor, it is in between 1.92% to 2.05%

c) South Mumbai has seen low rental yields.
