In Chennai, if you are looking to buy a flat, in my opinion, west is a friendly area to live in. Even for investment purposes, there are many under construction projects in west. Avadi is a great location especially since Mahindra Lifespaces have started their project under the name of Happinest Avadi. Focused on providing cost effective houses. Not only that, it is conveniently located off Poonamalle Avadi High Road, which is a fast developing area with easy accessibility.

Both North and South are good areas to buy apartments in Chennai. But it’s best to buy property near your work place, as it would save the time and efforts we spend in commuting. There are many good projects in Chennai where you can invest. If you are looking for the best option, then you should consider buying House of Hiranandani apartments. They have luxury Projects like Bayview, Anchorage, and Edina all offer heated Jacuzzi spa, yoga and aerobics centre, fully equipped gyms, swimming pools, etc. Projects like Edina and Bayview are situated close to the Bay of Bengal and provide breath-taking views of the backwater and Bay of Bengal from a personal deck. Also, there is an aesthetically designed puja room and kitchen and a bathroom with modish fittings in these apartments. Experience the joy of staying at a place, which is a home to amenities like multi-cuisine restaurants, parks, landscape territories, cafes and refreshment zones.

Dear Mr Sameer Pawadia.
The best location to buy a property in chennai will be from Guduvanchery to Chingelpattu. There is a lot real etate activity happening in these areas. The best part this place will be the future gateway to chennai. The prices are very reasonable and there is a lot of scope for appreciation in the near future since this Road NH45 is very well connected by both train and bus facility. If you are planning purely from the investment angle, the places to be looked by you are from Chingelpattu and beyond on NH45. You can visit the tamil nadu govt web site on the developmental activities coming in the next few years. You can also call me for a personal discussion on 7667680900 or mail me at tsrgopu@yahoo.com

Since its inception in 1975, Puravankara has believed that there is only one mantra for success: Quality. This credo combined with uncompromising values, customer-centricity, robust engineering, and transparency in business operations, has placed it among the ‘most preferred’ real estate brands in both residential and commercial segments.

The success of Chennai realty has been buoyed up by South Chennai and even you can expect good returns from North Chennai as well, as north Chennai is getting much attention in terms of infrastructure and projects.

Yes the property prices in North Chennai iis going to witness a surge, once the metro line comes up. It will give more mobility to people in north Chennai which needs better infrastructure. :) :)

Which all localities do you think are good from investment point of view and what is the rate going on?
Sameer Pawadia

Area in West Chennai where you can invest in are Padi, Arumbakkam, Avadi, Pudur, Maduravoyal and Koyambedu to name a few. The cost of apartments starts from Rs 5000, depending on the location. All the areas mentioned above have witnessed mixed development.

Hello Sameer, If you are buying a property for investment purpose I would suggest you to go for West Chennai. West Chennai has seen extra ordinary growth in the last few years and today West Chennai house city's most reputed hospitals, colleges and IT Parks.
