Q: I have received an information to work in Pune. It is being very difficult for me find info about the locality. Is there anyone who can provide me info on transportation, infra development, shopping malls, recreation facilities, schools and colleges etc?

No, i will not suggest Hinjewadi a good option to stay for a female or even a male due to security issues. If you are invited to work in Hinjewadi, try to find an accommodation at Wakad or Pimple Saudagar. Both localities are close to Hinjewadi and a lot of working professionals live there. As far as transportation facilities are concerned, PMT buses serve the locality in regular interval. One can easily get the cabs and auto-rickshaw from the main road. Hello Bhaskar,
Hinjewadi in Pune has grown significantly and today it has become one of the most admirable IT Hubs of Pune. I would personally suggest staying in Hinjewadi Phase-3. The major benefit is that you do not have to cross the heavy traffic. You will not have to cross Wipro Circle and Hinjewadi Chowk unless you are working in Phase-1. It saves a lot of commuting time.

Secondly, seeing the current scenario of air pollution and traffic congestion, I would personally recommend you to stay near Hinjewadi Phase-3.

Yes, apart from that, If u want an Flats for rent in Hinjewadi, Pune then Wakad and Bhumkar Chowk will be a good deal. If u are in Tech Mahindra or TCS then Megapolis is best as it will save your commuting time. Situated towards the west of Pune, Hinjewadi has developed into one of the biggest industrial areas of the city. The locality has transformed from a sleepy village to a developed neighborhood. It is 20.5 km from Pune Railway Junction. This locality enjoys excellent connectivity to Pune Airport which is located at a distance of 26 km via Hinjewadi-Aundh Road. Hinjewadi has some good quality educational institutions and schools, colleges, IT Parks, malls, recreation facilities nearby.
