Q:I heard that there were some sewage problems in Naren Nagar near Kalapatti recently. How true is that? Is the problem been sorted? I’m moving there next month, do you guys think that I’ll face this problem too?
Latest Answer: I heard some problems happened during the demoliton. Some farmers came and protested, bcoz they were afraid that the sewage water might leak into the stream and contaminate it.
Q:Has any action been taken to remove the unhygienic canal that passes through Kalapatti that causes a lot of disturbance to airport authorities? And is this a nice locality to move to? Are there any other prominent civic issues?
Latest Answer: Kalapatti does face some civic issues actually apart from just this canal. 2 years ago garbage collection was abysmal and there was open dumping of waste that resulted in a very unsanitary environment. Also there are a number of open drains in the area that need to constantly keep getting cleaned or there is no point of the drain being there in the first place. But property value is still quite high in this locality and it is also a well-developed layout. Still these issues must really be solved by the civic authorities.
