People usually dream to own a house of their own as a symbol of their status in the society. Every individual starts dreaming of a house when they start earning. A hope to fulfill this dream often drives and inspires us to save money and invest in buying or building our own house. Moving to a new house is no less than starting a new life with your family. Shifting to a new house may bring you prosperity or it may turn out to be a very bad experience for you based on the Vaastu of your house.
You need to make sure that the Vaastu of your new house is perfect in serving the purpose of making your house a perfect abode for you and your family members. There are a number of factors to be considered while finalizing the layout to build the new house.
The first and foremost is the entrance location of the house as this has both positive and negative effects on the house. According to Vaastu Shastra, there are 32 possible locations for designing the entrance of a house and every location has either positive or adverse effect on the inhabitant of the house. For example, if you have designed the entrance in the north, it will bring you wealth and goodwill throughout your life. If you have the entrance located in the south-west, it will bring you poverty, debt and other financial problems. So, it becomes very important to have your entrance in a perfect position to reap benefits from the Vaastu of your house.
Once the entrance of the house is finalized, you need to concentrate on the positions of the rooms in your house. The directions in which the rooms are located influence your efforts on various things. For example, if you have your bedroom in between the east and south-east direction, you would not be able to gain peace of mind as this direction is known as the direction of anxiety in Vaastu Shastra. The bedrooms located between South and South-west direction make you feel depressed. If your toilet is built in between north and north-west direction, it brings negative effect on your health as it weakens your immunity system and makes you fall sick more often. If you find a toilet made in the North, you should become sure of downfall in your career and financial condition. If you find the directions of bedrooms and toilets in such directions, better you should avoid buying such apartments or flats.
The Vaastu Shastra advises that the bedrooms should be located in South, West or East directions. However, your profession should also be considered while finalizing the perfect flat or apartment. Toilets in a house should be located in the South-Southwest or East-Southeast directions for better results.
The last parameter that needs to be taken care is the position of the Five Elements or Panchatattwas in a house. The Five Elements are Fire, Water, Air, Earth and Space. According to Vaastu Shastra, water should be in the North direction, Air in East, Fire in South, Earth in South-West and Space in West.
In recent times, it may not be possible to find houses that are correct in every manner. However, the shortcomings can be rectified by referring to the Vaastu Shastra books or consulting the experts.
