Is this brokerage !!??

Q: Hi,
Based on the link that I got on Internet, we directly went to Alpine eco and saw a house . One Mr.Mohan ( Manager) asked some one to show us a different house. When we decided to take the house on rent, guy who showed us the house (C tower , #1004) is asking for brokerage !!! I was shocked with this. Is this how things go at Alpine Eco. Is there no way that we rent a house without paying brokerage. Can some one please let me know.

You better contact the owner of the house to avoid brokerage. If you have come through some agent than I think you have to pay.

you need not pay brokerage for seeing the house. flatly refuse.
