Q: I have a flat in Fairfield B. Can we do anything for the loss arising to us due to delay in possession of the flat (especially levy of Service tax and loss of interest for 8 months).
I had purchased a flat in Fairfield B in August 2009, I was promised possession by December 2009. The entire payment has been taken in December 2009 and the building is not yet ready (even today). I am taking legal action against Lodha. If anyone is interested in joining hands please mail me at venkat.j.srinivasan@gmail.com and we can make it a class action. I already have about 20 other buyers who have joined me in this case.
Hi Amit, Have you paid service tax already? I thought LL was not charging service tax until the court's decision...Please confirm.
Regarding interest loss, your agreement with Lodha Luxuria should have a clause that Lodha Luxuria will pay you back the interest loss in the event of any delay. Hope this helps.
