Procedure during key hand over

Q: What is the procedure while key handover. Do while giving the possession they ask to sign any document where it is mentioned that the buyer has no pending liability against the builder and builder is not liable to pay for any interest upon obtaining possession?

Possession letter, Blue print, No Objection Certificate, Development agreement, power of attorney, Commencement Certificate, Search Report of the Builder’s Advocate, Receipts of payments made to the builder, Letter of allotment etc are some of important documents required from builder or developer during possession of apartment. Do not forget to take a copy of occupancy certificate from the builder.
