Possession of westgate

Q: Hi, I am ower of the flat in westgate C. They are saying that it is on schedule and possesion will be given by dec 11. Is it right.. anybody has any clue abt it..If possion for fairfield is getting delayed then am sure the possesion for us will also be delayed..

I Have a flat in Claremont A. I was called to the Lodha head office to sign a paper where lodha would pay me rent of 25000 rs per month from May 2013. The paper was a complete eyewash. It said I was aware that the delay is not a fault of Lodha. It didnt even say from when the payment would be done though the executive had clearly said from May. I didnt sign the paper and neither should anyone. This is just a way of Lodha trying to get away from paying a compensation to us. We should get united. Claremont A.

Hi Suyash, I have received a similar call from Lodha asking me to come down for a chat relating to a Rs. 25K per month amount as a "token of appreciation" from Lodha for sticking with them for so long. Initially they mentioned that they would send me a copy of the letter which I would have to sign and then it could be formalized in a face-to-face meeting. They also categortically mentioned that this amount would have no connection with the delay in the project. Now they are unwilling to send me the draft of the letter. I have yet to revert to them on this. Seeing your reply, I am not sure what is to be done...

Hi, My name is Bhushan and I have purchase a house in Lodha Luxuria Westgate C. Since the last demand letter for the commencement of the 27th slab which was received in September 2012, there has been no communication from Lodha on the progress of the project. On speaking to them recently, I was informed that they have not received the complete commencement certificate for the 27th slab and therefore the work is not completed. This could mean a further delay of 6-9 months. They are now saying that possession for Westgate C would be in 2014. Does anyone have any updates that are different? Is there a forum where our complaints can be addressed?

I own a flat at westgate A and till date now which is 29th Dec 2012 I have n't received the possession. every time they are saying for last 7-8 months that it 'll happen . this is ridiculous now and we must jointly represent and get a firm answer of possesion date from Lodha

I too own a flat in westgate c. the customer care executive has informed through phone that it will be late 2012 or even 2013. We should make a group and fight for compensation if they do not give the possession on time.

I had purchased a flat in Fairfield B in August 2009, I was promised possession by December 2009. The entire payment has been taken in December 2009 and the building is not yet ready (even today). I am taking legal action against Lodha. If anyone is interested in joining hands please mail me at venkat.j.srinivasan@gmail.com and we can make it a class action. I already have about 20 other buyers who have joined me in this case.

hello folks...I am looking to buy a 3 BHK in Fairfield A/C...the sales guy tells me that all amenities will be done by Jul-11...do you think it is realistic...Do they negotiate the price???...pl let me know

Hi, I also own a flat In Westgate C. Yes if the possessions promised for other building get delayed it will have ripple effect on Westgate C as well. Now a days the ad appearing in TOI talks about possession commencing soon. So I hope some possession should start by July 2011.

Alok - I too own one in wastgate C and I tend to agree with you. I also feel that we need to collectively inquire about when the builders will achieve operational status of all common facilities & amenities since they are going deliver possession of various flats in various building in phase manner. So the doubt is even if you et the possession of your flat..what about all the promised amenities..Premal Ved

Hi, i have a flat in Westgate B. After endless delays they are now giving the flats for fit outs. before that they have asked me to pay all the society charges and common area maintainance charges which i am ready to pay. but in my agreement they have mentioned the maintainance charges at rs 4.75/sq ft and now they are asking me to pay @ rs 6.50/sq ft. Have other members of this building paid these charges
