Looking to buy a Society Flat.

Q:
I want to buy a 5-year old society flat at Huda Cooperative Group Housing Society, Sector 56, Gurgaon. According to the Seller of the society, the existing member will resign and I would be issued a New Share Certificate and Allotment Letter. I want to know whether I'll be treated as first member or secondary member.

Check legal aspect of the property before you pay any advance. Before buying a flat get NOC from Huda Cooperative Group Housing Society. But Society NOC is not a must for sale of property. According to Section 23 of Maharashtra Co-operative Housing Societies Act, membership of housing would be 'open'.
