Q: I recently bought an apartment in Mumbai and want a parking space for my four wheeler. What are the rates for obtaining a parking space for a four wheeler?

There is no rule anywhere that car parking can be charged by the developers. But due to increase in number of cars in each apartment the developers are bound to charge for the parking. This is due to increase in cars in the apartments. It all depends on builders the amount they want to charge. There has also been a rule that parking space should be provided without charging additional amount from flat buyers.
