Q: I am working in Bangalore in an IT firm. I am planning to buy an apartmnet and I will be taking home loan for the same. Is there any relaxation or special norms for a professional? Please advice.

For professionals, most banks do provide some special privileges as the source of income is stable and there is no need to worry for return back. For that you have to ask different as individual lender will have different norms. The housing finance banks also decides on the qualifications required for such professionals to qualify for the relaxed norms for loan eligibility calculations.
