Empyrean Owners - Which Schools are you considering?

Q: Hi,

I am pretty sure that the proposed school with in the Empyrean will not be ready when people move in. At best a kindergarten might be there. So which schools are you considering for your kids if you are planning to move to the Empyrean?

The schools near Sarjapur are at least 17-20km away and I doubt if they will provide transport to Empyrean if we are not considerable in numbers.

There is a Christ international school at just 4 Kms distance from The Empyrean Buses of 4 schools I.e. GIIS, White filed Global schools, Delhi public school and Christ international school are already picking/dropping children from The Empyrean.
Many schools including Green wood high, Vagdevi villas , Narayana Techno may start their services soon depending on number of kids.
We see no serious worry on schooling. Kids will definitely enjoy ride to the school in traffic free/lush green surroundings.

We are considering buying a villa in Empyrean phase 2. Presently,we are staying in France and may return to India in 2014 mid.We would like to know the arrangements made by the phase 1 residents for school as International schools are atleast 20 kms away from Empyrean.

Towards Whitefield side the good options are DPS-Whitefield and Whitefield Global (though we were not impressed with Whitefield Global’s facility). Both within the range of 15-16 Kms. We found DPS Whitefield on aegis of DPS, Delhi as a better one for CBSE syllabus. The school is on the NH 207, as the roads are almost empty it will hardly take 20-25 mnts to commute. The new 10 acre campus of DPS is up-coming and looks promising.
We had a talk with the Pro-V.Chairman of DPS Whitefield to check if they can provide a good package (discounted fees & transportation) for Empyreanites. They are willing to discuss the options and had asked to me to take an appointment with her and the Principal after we finalize on the school. Kindly share your thoughts on approaching DPS Whitefield as a group. In most of the schools, admissions for the academic year 2013-14 have already started or starting from next month, hence we need to decide as soon as possible.

Approaching the schools (whether in Whitefield or Sarjapur) in a group makes sense. If not for for fee reduction(which should be a definite possibility) at least for the transportation.

Would it make sense to look at schools in Whitefield / Varthur area rather than Sarjapur? I think Whitefield area has some schools with moderate (50-60k per year) ..like Vagdevi Vilas.

Distance wise it would be almost similar to Sarjapur but route is virtually signal free till hopefarm junction.

If someone has prepared a list of schools (both Sarjapur / Whitefield) with total fee, could it be shared?

Also one suggestion, Could we approach a good school with 10+ potential admission and get some respite on 1st yr admission cost?

Hi Balbhadra, you have to take right turn from Sarjapur Road onto Sulikunte Village Road for almost 1.5 kms. There is no other way to go to DPS.

Schools like DPS . Greenwood High are 20 kms + from Empyrean. I had spoken to DPS school bus executive and he said that they might contemplate extending bus route to Empyrean if there are 20+ kids for DPS.

Is there any other route to reach these schools which does not pass through Sarjapur village? The village road is very narrow and faces frequent traffic jams.

Hi Bala, I have not yet shortlisted any school yet. Just got the list of schools. You can check the fees by sending mails to the individual school authorities. They will let you know.

Yes but they are about 20Km away and I doubt if they have transportation towards Empyrean, not unless they get significant numbers. Have you considered/shortlisted any of the schools you listed?

And any idea how much is the fee in these schools for KG?
