Delay in construction

Q: I have booked an apartment with Mantri and recently i got to know that possession has been delayed by an year which is very huge. The reasoning behind the delay is really absurd. I really wonder whats going on. Unfortunately i am not in India to find out. I hope there Mantri's are being transparent enough and there no big other hidden surprise. I have kind of lost faith in Mantri. This has really raised questions/doubts on Mantri and their ability to complete project on time.

Mr Trivikram (on behalf of builder) have supported well but what is ur reply on 12months delay and compensation which was promised by u at the time of booking.

@Trivikram, I agree with you. I am booked flat there and Mantri told me that it is going to be 23rd floor building. Now, they have increased it to 25 floor. When asked they said it was already in their plan.

When asked about to pay Rs3/sft as compensation, they say that Mr. Mantri (sits in banglore) decided not pay as reasons of delay are beyond Mantri's control.

Mantri celestia has been delay and they pretend to be very systematic and disciplined in fleecing money from customer but when it comes to delayed compensation they behave worst than anything to describe beyond my words.

you are lucky that you came to know that the projects are delayed by a year. There are some builders who has delayed the projects and buyers like us still have no idea when it will complete and when we can get possession.

You can contact them either by phone or if you saying you have lost faith in Mantri, you can contact your legal expert for opting out from this project.
