Are these flats affordable by a common man?

Q: When will this bubble burst, are these flats affordable by a common man? 1BHK -60-80 lacs; 2BHK more than a crore; builders becoming rich and richer, whereas a common man lives under a burden of loan... Is it not a mistake committed by buyers? Check out US economy, people have become bankrupt and their properties are sealed... recession will haunt every buyer. Only these rich builders and property agents will survive with their surplus earnings made from buyers.

Hi MJ,
Now Don't need to worry. The Maharashtra government will change rules and regulations to help in delivery of affordable housing projects for the millions of the state's poor. Making sure that the offered new housing policy would be "pro-people", Maharashtra CM Fadnavis told the developers to work together with the government in its mission to provide affordable housing for the lower-middle class and the poor people.

There are many affordable homes projects for common man. And the prices you have mentioned are of luxury homes. The cost of a house usualy depends on the locality of the project, amenities and facilities provided etc.

Hi, I agree that the prices are going high, but as far as I know, the price range for 1 BHK is less than 50 Lacs and for 2 BHK it is Rs. 40 Lacs to Rs. 1.2 Crore.
